A career in our PwC Privates Tax practice will provide you with the opportunity to help private companies to resolve their tax issues and to help them manage their risks to achieve long-term success. You will advise clients on their local tax affairs while acting as a strategic consultant and will help them manage their tax obligations. You will focus on reviewing personal trust and corporate income tax returns and other tax reporting forms.
Our PwC Private teams help entrepreneurs private business owners and family companies manage their financial and tax obligations and risks at every stage in a way that fits the needs of their business in todays changing global landscape.

As a Private Tax Manager youll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve business issues deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Coach develop retain and mentor junior tax professionals; Anticipate stakeholder needs and shape test and discuss proactive solutions
Contribute deep technical tax knowledge to every engagement
Manage the efficient delivery to tax consulting and compliance engagements to our clients
Hold a Canadian CPA (or CA/other relevant designation) or a Masters in Tax and have completed Levels IIII of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course as an asset.
Demonstrate expertise in corporate tax ideally focused on private corporations and turn complex rules into clear actionable strategies.
Manage develop retain and mentor junior tax professionals while building high-trust high-performance teams.
Experience in public accounting is an asset understanding engagement cadence client dynamics and how to elevate service.
Thrive under pressure by prioritizing effectively juggling multiple assignments and staying organized without sacrificing quality.
Show an entrepreneurial and tech-curious mindset committed to upskilling for a digital world and open to new tools and ways of working.
