Research Associate- Biology

Join The Hospital for Sick Children as an Interdisciplinary Research Fellow focused on wound healing. Utilize advanced imaging and -omics techniques to explore the axolotl's regenerative capabilities.

This position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated researcher interested in tissue regeneration and axolotl biology. You will lead projects comparing wound healing mechanisms with dorsal closure in Drosophila. Collaborate with an international team while engaging in cutting-edge research that may contribute to future therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply imaging and -omics tools for protein analysis
Lead investigations on axolotl wound healing
Compare healing processes with fly dorsal closure
Collaborate with international team members
Prepare research findings for publication and presentation

Requirements:

Experience in tissue regeneration and axolotl biology
Background in comparative genomics and evo-devo
Strong collaboration and communication skills
