Solutions Architect - Information Security

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Designer with over 10 years of experience to lead the design, provisioning, and maintenance of highly available, mission-critical infrastructure. This role focuses on modernizing specialized service solutions by establishing robust configurations on cloud platforms while integrating with complex on-premise environments. You will be responsible for the entire environment lifecycle—from Dev-to-Prod—utilizing automated CI/CD pipelines, version control, and cloud-native optimization tools to ensure a high-performance, cost-effective, and resilient architecture.

Act as the primary technical lead in establishing the foundation for future-state cloud services.

• Work daily with modern DevOps toolchains, including automated pipelines and cloud-native monitoring.
• Engage in a long-term contract within a structured environment that prioritizes architectural excellence and technical standards.

Design and drive the setup of complex solutions on enterprise cloud platforms (Azure and AWS). Collaborate with architects to ensure every design stage aligns with approved architectural artifacts and roadmaps.

• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to reproduce environment configurations across the solution lifecycle. This includes reusable cloud environment configurations and the deployment of both COTS and custom applications.
• Develop comprehensive solution documentation, including configuration guides and run books. Maintain all configurations in version control systems such as GitHub or Azure DevOps.
• Provide guidance on optimizing cost/performance ratios using cloud-native and 3rd-party tools. Implement monitoring, alerts, and notifications for downtimes and errors.
• Assist with 3rd-level troubleshooting for complex technical design issues.

Expertise in RESTful/SOAP web services, JSON, and XML.

• Proficiency with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Deep understanding of Information Security best practices, including Encryption, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Network zoning, and Privacy Impact Assessments.
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Experience with 24x7 critical environments and large-scale healthcare IT infrastructure.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to translate complex technical options into business-friendly recommendations for stakeholders.
