Ledcor is actively hiring Drillers, Blasters, and Equipment Operators for civil and mining projects across Canada. These are steady, long-term roles with solid crews, reliable work, and clear direction.

Lead blast preparation and loading to keep production on schedule

Direct the blast crew to execute safe, efficient, on-time blasts

Load, tie-in, and fire patterns to plan for consistent fragmentation and diggability

Track blast results and production outcomes

Manage magazines and materials to support continuous operations

Operate safely and work independently with minimal supervision

Valid Newfoundland & Labrador Blaster’s Certificate or eligible to work towards obtaining

Experience blasting in surface mining or quarry operations

Production-focused, safety-driven, and able to work independently

Ability to work rotations, shifts, and overtime

Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Ability to work up to 12 hour rotating day/night shifts in all weather conditions

Travel allowances provided from anywhere in Canada

Living out allowance or camp available

Various shifts available

38.00 - $40.32 per hour
