Registered Practical Nurse - Temp Full Time or Perm Part Time

The nurse fulfilling this role will be required to provide support to all clinical areas of the hospital according to their scope of practice and clinical expertise,
To administer direct nursing care for patients in those areas assigned.
Plans, organizes, and delivers nursing care in a variety of settings.
Plans for and communicates to other nursing staff regarding patient needs and priorities when leaving one patient care area to ensure continuity of care.
Communicates to physicians, other departments or organizations, regarding issues affecting patient care.
Participates in quality control activities and understands the quality care goals of the organization.
T he individual is vigilant in ensuring that quality issues are brought to the attention of the appropriate manager/coordinator.
Participate in educational activities to maintain and advance competency and experience in all areas of patient care.
Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
IV Therapy

2 years of previous Complex Continuing Care, Long Term Care or Medical/Surgical nursing experience

Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) located in Huntsville. Applicants must reside within 125km of one of our hospital campuses or be willing to relocate prior to starting. *Hours of Work: Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements per the collective agreement.
