Engineering Application Analyst

Prepare engineering design calculations for structural systems involving steel, reinforced concrete and masonry elements as per the relevant CSA Standards and applicable codes.

Perform structural analysis, seismic qualification and assessment, structural design, and ageing management.

Support engineers in the preparing design documents and compiling engineering packages.

Prepare technical specification documents.

Compliance with applicable QA procedures and being responsible for producing quality work.

Civil Engineering degree from an accredited University, master's degree and above is an asset.

Eng License, preferably registered as an EIT.

Minimum 3-5 years of structural analysis and design experience in steel and concrete structures is preferred but good knowledge of the underlying engineering principles and practices are required.

Must be of academic knowledge of structural analysis and design.

At least master one commercial FEA software use, such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ANSYS, LS-DYNA, or equivalent.

Knowledge of CANDU nuclear structures, systems and equipment will be an asset.
