Collection Administration Agent Location Hybrid work in Toronto, ON M4W 3B8 : Iceberg Finance is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administration Agent to join our Repair Team. This role is responsible for managing all written communication between customers, vendors, bailiffs, lenders, and banks while ensuring compliance with provincial legislation, particularly the Repair and Storage Lien Act (RSLA) regulations. The successful candidate will also assist with inbound customer calls and support low-delinquency collections. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all written communication between internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, bailiffs, lenders, and financial institutions.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial laws, particularly Repair and Storage Lien Act (RSLA) regulations, in all communication and administrative processes.
  • Process and track account administration tasks related to repossession, repair, and asset recovery.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and compliance officers to ensure adherence to industry and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries regarding account status, payments, and outstanding balances.
  • Support low-delinquency collections by following up on past-due accounts and negotiating payment arrangements as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondence in the company's systems.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless operations and efficient handling of accounts.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of provincial legislation, particularly Repair and Storage Lien Act (RSLA) and other relevant financial regulations.
  • 2+ years of experience in account administration, collections, finance, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with financial institutions, lenders, or asset recovery teams is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Bilingual (English and French) is an asset.
