Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) - Avionics

Job Location: Ottawa, ON - Ottawa International Airport (YOW)

Rotation Shift

Compensation Range : Between $44.82 - $58.60 per hour

As an avionics licenced AME, you will have an exclusive opportunity to contribute to the support of the Canadian government's CC330 Husky fleet operating as a new strategic tanker transport capability (STTC), troops/passengers movements and VVIP travels. You will have several opportunities to travel the world as a flyer with generous compensation.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME E) will perform work and be ready to sign a Maintenance Release for their work. The AME shall have demonstrated acceptable levels of knowledge of the AMO and its Quality Program and have been issued an ACA Authorization to sign a maintenance release in respect to work performed on aeronautical products. Performance of work, up to and including certification with approved processes;

Utilizing certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment;

Familiarization with L3 MAS Policies and Processes;

Marshalling, fueling and towing of aircraft;

Performing duties such as repair, modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures;

Ability to travel on board to aircraft to service and carry out repairs as needed throughout the world;

Complete all assigned training and tasks on time; Participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested.

You must hold an AME E license and have qualifications on A330 heavy aircraft;

Minimum of 5 years experience on A330 aircraft;

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
