At Sun Pharma Canada Inc. We Believe Our People Are An Invaluable Asset. The Eye Care Territory Manager is responsible for achieving all territory sales goals through the promotion, sale and support of company products or services. They will report to the Regional Sales Manager, Ophthalmics.
Engaging in discussions with medical professionals and skillfully advocating for our products’ unique features and advantages, addressing any potential objections.
Serving as a crucial point of contact and knowledge hub for the Patient Benefits Program.
Planning and organizing speaker programs and other peer-to-peer activities in the region in collaboration with Medical.
Communicating market intelligence to brand teams and management.
Preparation and implementation of Strategic Business Plans. Attendance at Regional and National Conferences (as needed).
Timely and accurate completion of all administrative requirements.
Responsible for complying with Canadian drug regulations (Health Canada, Innovative Medicines Canada and Sun’s policies) regarding field drug promotion.
Additional Responsibilities Apply To Customer-facing Roles Only.
Report any adverse events received from customers regarding company products to the pharmacovigilance department/Drug Safety on the same day or the next business day.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 1–2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.

Must have the ability and commitment to travel, including occasional overnight stays when required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Prior sales experience within the ophthalmic field.
Builds powerful connections in the field of eyecare and has the ability to forge strong new alliances by providing customers with more than just a brand.
Demonstrates a history of outstanding sales success.
General office conditions.
The ability to travel, with occasional overnight stays as needed

In addition, this position is part of the IC Commission Plan and eligible for fleet vehicle.
