Wage: $39.23 per hour, 44 hours per week

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience as a heavy-duty mechanic
Work Setting / Work Site Environment: In shop, Outdoors, Noisy
Perform scheduled maintenance service; Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems of various makes/models and off-road equipment; Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extend of repair required; Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications; Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work; Order parts and maintain inventory; May instruct apprentices; Keep maintenance reports and documentation; Credentials: Red Seal or eligible to obtain Alberta Red Seal Endorsement;
Driving record (abstract), Drug test; Personal Suitability: Support for newcomers, refuges, Youth and Indigenous people
