You will join our Algo Analytics and Execution Data POD in Equities Electronic Trading. We are a software engineering team using kdb+/q time series technology to handle large volumes of financial markets data each day.

Collecting, storing, analysing and distributing data across multiple systems with varied requirements creates many interesting challenges and gives plenty opportunities for improvements and innovation - including usage of Cloud storage and compute engines. As our KDB Developer, you will:

Building and maintaining KDB microservice based applications across multiple locations in a Hybrid (Colo-Campus-Cloud) model across the globe

Creating and updating automated reporting based off of KDB stored data

Working with quant team to develop and implement new models for algo trading as well as reports based off trading activity

Troubleshoot issues faced by quants/traders in a real time trading environment

The build and maintenance of tools, to industrialize support of a cutting-edge in-house trading platform.

You will handle all phases of development (requirements gathering/analysis through to implementation), establishing solid relationships and trust built on proven delivery

Strong KDB and Q language skills to handle time series data

Excellent communication skills & ability to influence project design and scope

Experience in automating the delivery pipelines and building a self-resilient platform

Experience with qspec testing framework

Demonstrable knowledge of Equities Business

Experience with Refinitiv Market Data solutions
