Platform Engineer (Remote)

As a Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer – Agentic A I, you will lead the architecture of complex multi-agent systems on Azure and integrate generative AI into business-critical processes. Use Azure AI Foundry, the Microsoft Agent Framework, and Copilot Studio to develop scalable, secure, and powerful agents.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Design and implementation of advanced agent architectures with reflection & planning, GraphRAG, tool use, and multi-agent orchestration
Use of Azure AI Foundry and the Microsoft Agent Framework to efficiently orchestrate agentic AI solutions and integrate thousands of models from the Model Catalog
Integration with Copilot Studio for enterprise AI assistants (e.g., M365 Copilot), integration of company data and internal APIs
Ensuring responsible AI (including RBAC, identity management, content filters, fairness) and conducting governance and compliance assessments
Mentoring team members, collaborating on architectural decisions, and coordinating closely with stakeholders (German/English)
Continuously analyzing new Azure AI features (Agent Framework, Custom Models, Observability) and their strategic use

At least 3 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, including several years with generative AI or multi-agent systems.
Expertise in Azure AI (Foundry, OpenAI Service, Cognitive Search), orchestration tools, and MLOps; very good knowledge of Python and API design.
Experience in building scalable, secure AI systems and leading development teams.
Fluent in spoken and written German; very good English.
Strong problem-solving skills, ethical awareness, and clear communication skills.
