Linux/Network Administrator

A leading global quantitative trading firm, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support its ultra-low-latency trading infrastructure. Headquartered in New York, Tower designs and deploys high-performance systems that enable real-time trading across global markets.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a large-scale Linux-based environment that supports both latency-sensitive trading platforms and high-performance compute clusters. This position demands deep technical expertise, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and close collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

Maintain, support, and improve large-scale Linux systems used in trading and research environments
Provide operational support for high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure
Respond to incidents, implement infrastructure updates, and carry out planned deployments
Diagnose and resolve complex performance issues across the Linux server environment
Develop and improve automation tools for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of large-scale server fleets
Strong background in Linux systems administration in performance-sensitive environments
Experience with automation and monitoring tools in large-scale deployments
Deep understanding of Linux internals and OS-level concepts
Proficiency in Python is required
Solid understanding of networking protocols and services in Linux environments
