Full Time Security Guards

Position: Full Time Field Support Unit - Security Guard
Site: Various Locations (Richmond Hill/Vaughan Mills, Scarborough/Markham, Toronto/North York/East York)
Hours: Continental Days & Nights (0700-1900 /1900 - 0700)

This position requires a personal Vehicle with G2 or G and must be able to clean shave as per the N-95 mask fit test.
Working on assigned shifts at different sites in All Regions
You will provide proactive and reactive security patrols in buildings and hospitals and response to fire and emergency incidents
Display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance.
Provide security escort service to staff and visitors as requested.
Provide motor vehicle assistance to staff and or visitors as required.
Accountable for keeping accurate logs and notebook entries of all shift activity and calls for service and write accurate reports upon investigations or reportable occurrences in timely manner upon completion of occurrence.
Security Guards shall warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
Control access at entry points and ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises.
Assist in the enforcement of company policies and procedures, including monitoring and reporting any suspicious activities.
Report any incidents, accidents, or security breaches promptly to the management team
Monitor surveillance cameras and security equipment, ensuring they are functioning properly
Cooperate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other authorities when necessary.
Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
Covid Vaccine two doses
Must be proficient in English (both oral and written)
Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
