Research & Development Supervisor
Lead execution of plant trials, including preparation of trial plans, raw material coordination, process setup, and real time data collection.
Provide technical guidance and on floor support during trials to ensure correct execution and adherence to defined parameters.
Supervise and mentor R&D Technologists and/or R&D Assistants, ensuring work quality, accuracy, and timely completion of assigned tasks
Collaborate cross functionally with Quality, Operations, and Commercial teams to troubleshoot issues related to product performance, quality, or manufacturability.
Conduct product evaluations including breakage testing, physical checks, and sensory observations to confirm compliance with product standards.
Oversee daily operations of the R&D test kitchen, including ingredient inventory management, sanitation compliance, and regular equipment maintenance to maintain an efficient and orderly workspace.
Supervise the preparation, coordination, and development of sample requests and customer specific product variations to ensure timely and accurate delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Approve the vacation requests.
Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in product development in food manufacturing, with hands-on involvement in formulation, testing, and process optimization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, email communications, and presentations effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document findings, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive continuous improvement in product development
