Assist as required with the day-to-day Warehousing activities in support of the Victoria In-Service Support Contract (VISSC).
Complete material management activities including handling, shipping, issuing, receiving and warehousing.
Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as propane and electric forklifts, and hand-held power tool operation.
Complete inventory management, including annual stock taking and verification.
Assist in workload planning.
Participate in data entry and report generation in Babcock’s ERP System.
Organize storage areas and participate in stock taking.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment by complying with relevant company policies and procedures.
1-3 years experience in a warehouse environment in a similar role.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible for work hours; the successful individual may be required to work early mornings, late afternoons, and on-call weekends.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Receive, store, issue, transport, and distribute material
• Data entry
• Warehousing, stock control, and inventory management
• Control of Documentation
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (such as IFS)
• Department of National Defence (DND) supply chain processes and Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) (strong asset)
• Operation of MHE (Manual Handling Equipment), such as pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. (An asset – additional training will be provided)
• Workplace Hazardous Management Information Systems (WHMIS) (an asset – annual training is provided)

Supply Chain/logistics certification is considered an asset.
Eligibility for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.
