Location: Ajax, Ontario
Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift (No evenings!)
As a Licensed 310T Mechanic with First Student, you will help maintain and repair school buses to ensure vehicle readiness & safety.
Starting at $40.80/hour , higher than many local competitors.

Company-paid ASE testing with up to $2/hour bonus for certifications.
Ongoing training on state-of-the-art systems.
Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair with minimal supervision (brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmissions, etc.).
Remove and reinstall mechanical components.
Participate in 90-day preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual inspections.
Adhere to First Student standards, policies, and procedures.
Perform other maintenance duties as required.
Participate in ASE certification program (training, testing, and bonuses provided).

Strong problem-solving and computer skills.
