Directive Consulting is the performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech companies. We use Customer Generation (a marketing methodology developed by us) which focuses on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. We offer Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, and Video to our clients by creating comprehensive digital marketing strategies that allow our clients to hit their SQL targets, every time.

The Content Strategists and Sr Content Strategists are a crucial, client-facing role that is responsible for day-to-day client deliverables, creating and managing custom client strategies, and communicating both with clients and internal stakeholders. The Strategists are responsible for more Enterprise clients and is expected to have a deep understanding of their service line and how it impacts other areas of business to create a holistic marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of content strategy, along with a strong foundation in technical SEO, including site audits, structured data, and Core Web Vitals. They should be able to seamlessly blend technical insights with content initiatives to drive organic growth and maximize search visibility.

Utilize project phases, historical performance, and ongoing campaigns to optimize strategies over time.

Craft creative briefs and ideate compelling content campaigns based on competitor and audience insights.

Apply proven frameworks such as LTV modeling, customer generation, share of SERP, and content production.

Analyze data from sources like Google Analytics, CRM systems, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to establish measurable client goals.

Project Management

Partner with content writers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality campaigns that meet client expectations.

Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong, trust-based relationships.

Keep internal leadership informed about roadblocks, growth opportunities, and account changes, such as strategy pivots or point-of-contact transitions.

Foundational SEO Skills

Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to identify technical issues, content gaps, and optimization opportunities, delivering actionable recommendations to improve site performance and rankings.

Execute on-page and off-page optimization strategies, including keyword research, meta tag improvements, internal linking, and external outreach to enhance search visibility.

Develop and implement link-building campaigns, leveraging outreach strategies and partnerships to secure high-quality backlinks that drive domain authority and organic traffic growth.

Must Have: Expertise in Screaming Frog, advanced SEMrush, GA4, Google Search Console, and Excel (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
