Job Type: Temporary Part Time (up to 12 months)

We provide services ranging from preventative education as well as management and treatment of the high-risk foot conditions for persons afflicted with diabetes and/or lower limb vascular problems.

Provide general management of the Chiropody Services provided by the Hospital

Assess and treat a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions, including skin and nail disorders, structural problems, and injuries

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including the use of orthotics, medications, and minor surgical procedures, to address patient need

Provide preventative care and education to patients, focusing on maintaining foot health and preventing further complications, particularly in patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes.

Conduct routine foot examinations for patients at risk of foot complications, such as those with diabetes, arthritis, or vascular disease

Engage in patient education and outreach programs to raise awareness about foot health and the importance of early intervention

Registered with license to practice (in good standing) with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario

Successful completion of a chiropody program approved by the Council of the College of Chiropodists of Ontario

Working knowledge of Microsoft applications

Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required
