Position: General Laborer
Full Time position

We are a dynamic company focused on growth and security. GFL is responsible for the collection and processing of waste recycling and organic materials. We are looking for an energetic and motivated temporary General Laborer to support our growing business.

Working under direct supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Paint Repair metal bins;
Pick up papers and residues on the site;
Paint the interior of the buildings when necessary;
Possibility of driving heavy machinery;
All other related tasks requested by the immediate superior.
Work is performed in an open automotive shop environment and may be exposed to the elements the noise of machinery and vehicles fumes exhaust emissions grease engine oils solvents chemicals dust electrical hazards mechanical hazards vehicle hazards and vibrations.
High school diploma or G.D. and a minimum of two (2) years of mechanical experience automotive/truck light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair or completion of accredited vocational technical school program.
Works under minimal supervision.
Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information.
Ability to utilize fleet maintenance software program.
Ability to complete required paperwork to accurately document repairs utilization of parts and associated repair times.
