Guest Service Agent - Night Auditor (Full Time)

First impressions are everything! Your engaging smile and personality are the essence of a great Night Auditor with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. As you personally greet our guests and assist them throughout the day, you will be empowered to deliver on our mission of turning moments into memories for our guests.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, your essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

Greet, check in, and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followed

Maintain current and correct posting of all charges

Resolve customer concerns and complaints ensuring guest satisfaction

Train, motivate and develop front desk agents

Review routing, rates and all night auditing functions

Serve as a sales agent promoting and up-selling hotel services

Monitor rooms' inventory to assist in maximizing rooms' revenue

Constant standing and walking throughout shift.

Working night shift (11:00 pm – 7:00 am)

High school diploma is needed

• 2 years of college is an asset
• One year of hotel front desk agent or night audit experience as an asset, Property Manager – Opera, Microsoft Office as an asset
• Previous PMS experience is an asset
• Previous experience in front office in similar role, preferably a 4/5 Star/Diamond hotel
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and non-verbal
• Must have the ability to hand cash effectively and accurately
• Computer literate and experience with front office applications a strong asset
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimal supervision
