Store Associate - Full Time

Toromont Cat is looking for a Shop Helpers to join our team in Timmins! This position is responsible for supporting our branch site location with the work flow by keeping all shop areas organized and safe in order to streamline customer orders in an accurate and timely manner. The Shop Helper is intended to assist Shop Technicians and Supervisors in an effort to maximize the productivity and efficiency. Full Time, Permanent

Assist Shop Technicians and Supervisors as directed in support of the business’ needs

Track, store and maintain all required tooling required to ensure safe tool operation

Validate component lists and prepare for pick up by technicians or shipping via carrier

Maintain shop and surrounding work area cleanliness

Support Contamination Control efforts by maintaining bulk oil, collection sites and solvent stands according to ISO standards

Ensure waste is segregated according to established policies

May occasionally help technicians on the road with their tasks

Comfortable working in a garage style environment, mechanical inclination
