Tax Preparer-Seasonal Fulltime

EBT Chartered Professional Accountants is seeking a detailoriented and motivated Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our Swift Current office for the upcoming tax season. This is a great opportunity to gain handson experience in a public accounting environment while working with a supportive and collaborative team.
As a Seasonal Tax Preparer you will assist our tax team during peak season by preparing personal income tax returns and supporting related administrative tasks. Training is provided and you will work under the guidance of experienced tax professionals.
Prepare T1 personal income tax returns using EBTs approved tax software
Enter tax slips and financial information with a high level of detail
Assemble completed tax packages for review
Support the tax team in meeting deadlines during peak periods
Previous tax preparation experience is an asset
Familiarity with Canadian tax slips (T4 T5 RRSP etc.) Comfortable using computers and learning new software
Technical Skills
Experience with r tax software is an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word)
Seasonal position from March 2 to April 30
Hours will be full time overtime will be required as well
Some evening or weekend availability may be required during peak weeks
