As Validation Engineer you'll be a part of our Managed Services department, working in an engaging fast paced environment supporting our client, a multinational enterprise, to ensure that next-generation Non-Volatile Nand memory products meet the design requirements.
This is a remote position, however there is potential to work onsite with the client from time to time (client located on Marine Drive, Richmond). Detect test failures, perform triage, create defect reports and ensure timely and accurate resolution is provided

• Collaborate with Firmware Engineers to optimize NVMe features of high-performance firmware and software for next-generation SSD products
• Provide clear status to domain leads on the development and test status
• Join monthly and quarterly meetings with client representatives as the technical represent

1-3 years of programming experience in C/C++, and Python (

1-3 years of programming experience in C/C++, and Python ( this skill is a must as all 3 languages are used in this role )

• Experience with git or similar source control repository systems
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, and a mindset of continuous improvement
• Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science Degree or related concentration, equivalent and/or combination of education and work experience

An excellent communicator in written and spoken English - you feel comfortable presenting your ideas to others

• Quality focused and detail-oriented - you pay attention to details and can't stand sloppy work
• You're driven and does not need to be micromanaged, you take initiative and don't wait around for problems or quality concerns to surface before brainstorming a fix
• You can independently find online resources to learn things you don't know
• Experience with git or similar source control repository systems
