On-Call Health Care Aide (HCA)
Location: Calgary, AB Employment Type: On-Call | Contract (3 months, with extension option)
We are currently seeking experienced Health Care Aides (HCAs) for on-call coverage in Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities across Calgary. This role is ideal for dependable HCAs who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, facility-based care environment and can pick up day, evening, and night shifts as needed.
This is not a home care role . Candidates must have hands-on experience in an LTC or similar facility setting.
Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Health Care Aide in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility
Facility-based experience is mandatory
Home care experience does not qualify
Valid Canadian work permit or Canadian citizenship
Able to work on-call across varied shifts (days, evenings, nights)
Active HCA Registration
Health Care Aide (HCA) Certificate or
Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate
First Aid Certification
Note: Contractors must hold both First Aid and BLS
Immunization Records
Candidates who decline the flu shot must agree to Tamiflu treatment in the event of a flu outbreak at the facility

Contract Details
Contract Length: 3 months, with the option to extend
Contractors may request removal from the contract at any time
Shift Availability
Day, Evening, and Night shifts
25/hour – Incorporated or Sole Proprietor contractor
