Technicien de Service / Field Service Technician

Do you reside anywhere in Central or Northern Alberta and willing to travel? Earn great pay and work with an amazing team of technicians serving NOV clients province wide.
Past experience as Driller, Derrickhand or Journeyman Electrician? Maintain, service, and set up equipment as required
Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues as they arise while keeping open communication with engineers, rig personnel, and supervisors
respond to customer concerns in a prompt and efficient manner
Adhere to all NOV policies and procedures (Vehicle, safety, correspondence, housekeeping)
May be required to deliver hotshot requests and install equipment on site
You will be required to travel frequently to assigned customer sites.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills .
Technical Requirements
Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
Customer Focus
Functional/Technical Skills.
Shop environment orientation (exits, fire extinguishers, first aid & eyewash stations, spill kits, propane storage) and yard environment (building locations, processes)
Office environment
Ergonomic training
Training on proper usage of PPE if exposed to noise, dust and fumes.
