Paralegal (Mid to Senior) â Corporate / Commercial
Our client, located in Victoria, is seeking a Mid to Senior Corporate/Commercial Paralegal to join their collaborative Corporate Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal who enjoys complex transactional work, values efficiency and continuous improvement, and thrives in a supportive, people-focused environment.
While the firm supports hybrid work arrangements, this role requires a regular in-office presence to support team collaboration and client service.
Prepare and manage a broad range of corporate legal documents for BC and federal entities, including corporations, societies, partnerships, and not-for-profit organizations
Assist with share transactions, dividends, director and officer changes, and other corporate maintenance matters
Conduct due diligence reviews of corporate records and prepare rectification documentation
Establish, maintain, and update corporate records, databases, and filing systems
Support real estateârelated matters such as commercial financings, conveyances, and LTSA registrations (preferred but not required)
Paralegal Diploma or Certificate preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate/commercial paralegal work
Strong working knowledge of relevant BC and federal corporate legislation
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, document management systems, and online registries
Competitive base salary starting at $80,000+ , depending on experience
