Under the direction of the Back-up day-shift supervisor, the 3rd Loader is accountable for the safe operation of the Rail-Loading operating area. This includes operation of all types of equipment, pumps, valves, and control panel consoles. Additionally, the Third Loader is responsible for documentation of daily activities.
The 3rd Loader helps the Second Loader and assists the First Loader if need.
Candidates must have the ability to work various hours (day shifts only). Overtime as required based on business needs and schedules
This position is based out of our Lloydminster Refinery facility and would require the successful candidate to reside/relocate to the area
Perform Preloading inspections of railcars
Loading rail railcars with molten asphalt and other commodities
Preparation of rail equipment for maintenance as well as issue work permits. Complete required training and ensure allocated training hours are met
Comply with all HS&E and ISO 9001 requirements in the performance of this Position's responsibilities
Industrial railway locomotive/railcar mover Operations experience is an asset
- Experience with operating rail-loading equipment
- Previous Operating experience in Refinery or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in an industrial setting
- As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. Internal candidates that are currently in a lower grade will be assessed based on their sustained job performance, how they demonstrate the expected organizational competency behaviors and values and in discussions with their current leader prior to determining next steps.
