Duties in the maintenance operation and repair of equipment. They assist with and perform installation and maintenance tasks in order to ensure the effective operation of equipment.

Conduct preventative maintenance and repair and lubricate machines and equipment.

• Operate welding equipment.
• Repair worn damaged or defective mechanical parts.
• Providing information to supervisors co-workers and subordinates by telephone in written form e-mail or in person.
• Servicing repairing calibrating regulating fine-tuning or testing machines devices and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles.
• Inspecting equipment structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

• Knowledge of machines and tools including their designs uses repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment policies procedures and strategies to promote effective local state or national security operations for the protection of people data property and institutions.
• Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
• Controlling operations of equipment or systems
• Successfully completed apprenticeship as a Millwright.
• Diploma in relevant vocational training to successfully complete apprenticeship as a Millwright.

~ The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
