Customer Service & Account Executive Support
Collaboratively and regularly meets with Account Executive(s) and the team to stay abreast of client account status
Maintains a technical and service-oriented relationship with the clients and underwriters
Provides friendly, professional service to customers and Account Executives
Handles routine customer and Account Executive inquiries/concerns in a timely manner and to an agreed upon Practice Group standard
Proactively identifies coverage gaps and makes insurance and risk management recommendations
Provides administrative support as required including, but not limited to, invoicing, Cover Notes, finance contracts, claims support, Accounts Receivable, etc.
Managing daily administration of client accounts (correspondence; policy, contract, and lease agreement wording review; policy documentation issuance; account receivables lists)
Assists Account Executive(s) in the placement of new business opportunities. Provides marketing and policy rating services
Liaises with Account Executives to discuss client needs and make recommendations regarding terms and conditions obtained
Building relationships - with clients, with underwriters, with colleagues YOU are a people person!
Working behind the scenes to ensure an exceptional customer experience YOU know that the customer expects excellence and so do you!
At least 5 years of Commercial Insurance experience
General Agent Level II Insurance license through the Insurance Council of BC
Insurance experience in CGL, property & equipment breakdown, SOVs, working with MGAs, submissions, marketing & proposals, claims
CAIB or CIP insurance designation
Insurance experience in D&O, cyber, and other specialty lines, rate sheets, including split rating, process of learning/understanding clients' operations, pre-underwriting process for the practice group's specialty industry/industries
