SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Objective
Looking to take the next step in your accounting career? Our skilled finance team is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join us. With a hybrid work setup allowing just 2 days in-office, this could be the perfect opportunity for you if you're passionate about numbers and strategic thinking.

Note: Relocating to London, Ontario, will be needed before starting.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting and completing tax returns for individuals, trusts, and businesses.
Compiling and submitting information filings, as well as preparing financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders.
Creating audit, review, and notice to reader working paper files.
Analyzing financial data in depth to recognize trends, discrepancies, and areas for enhancement.
Traveling within Ontario when necessary.
Participating in frequent coaching sessions with managers and partners.
Establishing strong client relationships while ensuring clear communication is maintained.

Professional Qualifications & Experience

At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in public accounting as a Staff Accountant, with expertise in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and corporate tax returns.
Proficient in auditing, financial reporting standards, and implementing accounting software like QuickBooks.
Strong computer literacy skills.
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration (or equivalent).
CPA designation
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience working in public accounting firms
