Mission

Terus Construction, a Division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator for its Mobile Crushing Operations, located in Crescent Valley, BC.

Daily Responsibilities

Review and Approve Heavy Job Timecards for Internal Crushing
o Ensure Heavy Job Timecards have the correct coding and are approved daily before 10:00am.
o Ensure all employees/equipment are accounted for and coded accurately on a Heavy Job Timecard.
o Ensure the attendance codes are correct and used appropriately.
o Communicate any miscoding or errors to the supervisor.
o Ensuring all fuel is tracked using the spreadsheet provided.
o Ensure all fills are recorded accurately via fuel usage sheet and the timecard submission.
o Ensure all fuel deliveries are recorded accurately from the fuel requisitions.
o Ensure the tanks are dipped weekly and reconciled to avoid large discrepancies at month end.
o Ensure the fuel transaction spreadsheet and month end inventory is submitted each month end before 10:00am.
o Ensure that the equipment hours match what is being charged in heavy job.
o Ensure all equipment is being accounted for (work with the supervisor for this).
o Ensure all equipment hours are submitted at month end by 10:00am.

PO Management for Internal Crushing Production and Equipment
o Code all requisitions accurately as they are received from the supervisors.
o Ensure the Open PO Report is up to date each week (no PO lines with promised delivery dates older than a week)
o Ensure Awaiting Receipt List is reviewed and cleared daily.
o Ensure NON-PO List is reviewed and coding is provided the same day when requested.
o Ensure all OnBase requirements are met (including, but not limited to uploading POD’s)
o Day to day coordination and communicating with the supervisors.
o Ensure Terus Crushing is cc’d on all emails sent.
o Email Management of the Terus Crushing Mailbox
o Enter Productions in Teams accurately for all Internal Crushing
o Confirm products and production runs with the supervisor.
o If the products do not match the production plan confirm with the supervisor.

Weekly Responsibilities

o Coordinate Weekly Crusher Operations Meeting, Record and Distribute Meeting Minutes.
o Safety Submissions and Accountability (work with Tyler Nichol)
o Ensure all required submittals are completed from every supervisor as per company policy.
o Arranging all emergency response plans/site safety plans for each pit.
o Ensuring all required documents are posted as per company policy.
o Coordinating safety training and startup meetings
o Ensuring mines work orders are completed to the satisfaction of mines.
o Conduct any required safety training on the iPad (new safety platform).
o Hotels for Internal Crushing
o Communicate with the supervisors to determine hotel requirements.
o Ensure hotels are booked for all employees.
o Send through confirmations to Corey and Terus Crushing via email.
o Communicate bookings to appropriate employees.
o Ensure a requisition is done for all hotel bookings.
o Ensure all cost is received for hotels via POD weekly.

Monthly Responsibilities
o Month End Hour Metre Top-Ups
o Month End Inventory and Fuel Transactions
o Ensure all rentals are tracked, returned and the PO is closed out

When Required
o Employee Management
o Ensure the hire on process provided is followed.
o Ensure all employees are hired on with the correct information (wage, pay rate, personal information) – Terus Construction.
o Ensure all employees have completed the union requirements.
o Ensure all supervisors have what they need (fuel cards, iPad, phones, pickups, diaries etc.).
o Ensure all employees have what they need (PPE).
o Inventory/Parts Management
o May be responsible for occasional shipping of parts/products.
o Other duties as required.

General Responsibilities
o Must comply with all company policies including, but not limited to Code of ethics and Company safety policies and procedures.
o Must perform duties safely around mobile equipment and have a high sense of safety awareness while performing work on project sites and roads.
o Use of Personal Protective Equipment is required.
o Establish and maintain good relationships with the team, clients and internal or external resources.
o Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
o Occasionally overtime and travel is required.
