Responsibilities

Maintain documentation reporting and record keeping.
Implement an Emergent Curriculum
Support childrens emotional physical or behavioural well-being; while helping to develop their social emotional cognitive and physical skills.
Maintain attendance and health and safety checks.
Work with professionals such as Speech Therapists Occupational Therapists and Early Interventionists as necessary
Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops

Specifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with children parents and co-workers.
Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation reporting and classroom operations
Strong collaborator and team player
Ability to take the initiative in and out of the classroom
Strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications

BC ECE License
Criminal Record Check
Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR
Immunization records up to date
Ability to push pull and lift up-to 45 pounds
