The schools are very diverse ranging from 10 to over 500 students per school, and catering to Cree, Dene, Métis, French, and English cultures and languages. NLSD provides a full range of pre-kindergarten to Grade Twelve programs to more than 4300 students in 21 schools. We have offices located in the beautiful communities of La Ronge and Beauval, both approximately 400 kilometers north of Saskatoon. The division is progressively piloting programs unique to Canada, staying on the cutting edge of technology, and integrating the varied cultural aspects of the communities into the classrooms. Deliver programming for groups in school and community settings
Work with students, schools, staff, parents/guardians, and community members to increase knowledge and skills related to mental health issues
Understand and adapt to the changing needs of the community related to mental health and wellness
Build and maintain strong relationships with the children, youth, and families
Identify and facilitate access for individuals who need referrals to mental health and addiction services
