Collaborate in a complementary team to innovate scalable bioreactor processes on the Lonza Cocoon platform, emphasizing cell-based immunotherapy manufacturing!

responsible for developing innovative cell manufacturing processes, specifically

Engaged in a new magnetic separation system. The biologist or bioengineer will complete experiments on the Lonza Cocoon platform, aiding in process technology transfer.

Responsibilities

Conducts cell-based assays at the laboratory bench under a technical lead's mentorship for cell therapy manufacturing processes.
Critically analyzes experimental data for process improvement and eventual incorporation into clinical cell production.
Presents results to advise supervisor and members of the team.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to successfully conduct innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in molecular/cellular biology, biochemistry, biological engineering or related field
2+ years of lab benchwork experience
Extensive experience/knowledge of aseptic cell culture techniques with a preference to T-cell culture
Preference for experience with magnetic separation
Preference for experience performing various biological analysis assays (e.g. flow cytometry, immunostaining, ELISA, etc.)
Data analysis and statistics background
Good technical writing, presentation, and communication skills
Independent and partnership skills
