Transportation Route Scheduling Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Transportation Route Scheduling Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective and timely implementation of all daily logistics operational goals;
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies;
- Maintain records for all transportation activities, prepare reports to the management;
- Direct activities related to coordinating, scheduling and dispatching transportation crews and routes, tracking shipping and receiving;
- Serve as first point of contact on all dispatch and shipment related issues, resolve issues that arise with in/out bound deliveries and shipments;
- Plan, arrange and supervise operational logistics of the company and co-ordinate activities with other units.
Requirements:
- Good command of English;
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in overall logistics and supply chain procedures;
- Excellent understanding of International Freight procedures;
- Secondary School Diploma.
