Our company is looking for a Shipper Receiver/Truck Driver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Unloading and loading courier drivers and customer vehicles;
- Operating a forklift;
- Participating in health and safety related duties;
- Working with a family of real world problem solvers;
- Providing courteous, accurate and on-time deliveries;
- Providing strong customer service;
- Lifting heavy items;
- Loading and unloading of customer orders;
- Completing customer deliveries and vendor pick-ups;
- Participating in inventory control and order selection;
- Verifying incoming and outgoing materials;
- Cleaning and organizing the exterior yard;
- Shipping and Receiving;
- Assisting in warehouse safety, cleanliness and waste disposal.
Requirements:
- Warehouse experience preferably in a waterworks/wholesale industry;
- A strong geographical knowledge of surrounding area;
- The ability to work in inclement weather as required;
- A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills;
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Minimum 3 years’ current driving experience;
- A strong commitment to health and safety;
- Good computer skills;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Forklift experience (certification an asset (training provided)).
