Order Pickers manage, prepare, and fulfill orders based on customer needs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Responsibilities include locating products, packaging items, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick orders from inventory accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure correct quantity and type of product is picked
  • Verify accuracy of picked orders by comparing with order forms
  • Pack and label orders properly for shipment
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Perform regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing duties
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate a forklift or other warehouse machinery and equipment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy boxes or items for extended periods of time
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and regulations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other warehouse workers and managers
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Prior experience in order picking or warehouse operations preferred
