Material Handler Lead Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Material Handler Lead to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement and ensure the completion of forklift operation training;
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate;
- Enforce the safety practices for all forklift operators;
- Participate in all incidents, assist in the root cause of incident, and provide solutions to resolve the situation;
- Ensure the operations of all forklift equipment;
- Maintain the companies high efficiency metrics and safety;
- Perform stock allocations and forklift responsibilities as a hands on lead;
- Assist in the hiring of forklift operators in various departments.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience;
- Certified forklift license (Counterbalance);
- Experience with the COMBI would be an asset;
- 2 to 3 years of experience working in a leadership role (preferrably in an manufacturing company).
