DZ Driver Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a DZ Driver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Operates two way radio and cell phone to receive instructions and provide status updates;
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Must be familiar with wood grading standards and be able to identify products;
- Must be familiar with basic house building construction in order to give direction to loaders on sequencing of load;
- Must have good knowledge of the layout of city roadways, maintain awareness of road restrictions and have the ability to source alternative routes;
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to understand customer requirements;
- Must hold a valid “DZ” level driver’s license;
- Licence with Clean abstract;
- Concentration is required to operate a large vehicle in traffic on Toronto roadways;
- Background check;
- Moderate physical effort is required to manually unload material, secure load, place crossers and step on and off forklift;
- Minimum 2-3 Years of Experience;
