Cruise Representative Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Cruise Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Shore operations team where and when needed;
- Meet & greet cruise guests pleasantly and in a knowledgeable manner;
- Direct guests through the terminal facility during embarkation and disembarkation process;
- Check-in guests at Canada Place with the cruise lines respective software (training on site);
- Assist guests with transfers between the Airport, Hotels and Pier;
- Other duties as assigned according to ships and shore operations;
- Assist guests with missing baggage or any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Computer skills required for check-in representative functions;
- Previous customer service/hospitality experience is an asset;
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of a second language in addition to English is a plus but not required;
- High level of professionalism and well-groomed appearance a must;
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be proactive towards our guests;
- TSC (Transport Canada clearance) approve is a plus;
- Solutions-oriented attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills with large groups and individuals.
