Showroom Sales Associate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Showroom Sales Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to emails by end of day whether there is a solution ready or not;
- May include opening/closing duties;
- Drive the administrative and support functions in the showroom;
- Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Marketing Director and/or Sales Director;
- Ensure showroom products are tagged;
- Accountable for the prevention and resolution of customer issues;
- To ensure effective communication with sales, sales support team, and clients;
- Ensure all new and current products are on the showroom floor;
- Managing displaying, pricing, tagging and sales of all samples;
- Assist Senior Sales Executive and Inside sales, appointments and calls;
- Offering product and/or delivery solutions;
- Support showroom sales by escorting, assisting and providing clients with product knowledge through the showroom;
- To maintain good order and positive atmosphere according to company core values and ensure policies are adhered to;
- Design the placement of new products when they arrive;
- Take full ownership for managing the showroom.
Requirements:
- Inventive and resilient;
- Excellent telephone and email etiquette, professional attitude and integrity;
- Ability to effectively manage their time, comfortable with multi-tasking;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Prior retail, showroom or design firm experience;
- Experience with SAP an asset;
- Excellent communication skills, as this position is in constant contact with customers, suppliers and management;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (very well versed in Excel is key);
- Strong interpersonal skills, personable;
- Excellent organizational skills.
