Our company is looking for a Showroom Sales Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to emails by end of day whether there is a solution ready or not;
  • May include opening/closing duties;
  • Drive the administrative and support functions in the showroom;
  • Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Marketing Director and/or Sales Director;
  • Ensure showroom products are tagged;
  • Accountable for the prevention and resolution of customer issues;
  • To ensure effective communication with sales, sales support team, and clients;
  • Ensure all new and current products are on the showroom floor;
  • Managing displaying, pricing, tagging and sales of all samples;
  • Assist Senior Sales Executive and Inside sales, appointments and calls;
  • Offering product and/or delivery solutions;
  • Support showroom sales by escorting, assisting and providing clients with product knowledge through the showroom;
  • To maintain good order and positive atmosphere according to company core values and ensure policies are adhered to;
  • Design the placement of new products when they arrive;
  • Take full ownership for managing the showroom.

Requirements:

  • Inventive and resilient;
  • Excellent telephone and email etiquette, professional attitude and integrity;
  • Ability to effectively manage their time, comfortable with multi-tasking;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Prior retail, showroom or design firm experience;
  • Experience with SAP an asset;
  • Excellent communication skills, as this position is in constant contact with customers, suppliers and management;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (very well versed in Excel is key);
  • Strong interpersonal skills, personable;
  • Excellent organizational skills.
