Responsibilities:

  • Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promoting materials;
  • Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants;
  • Provide information on all aspects of properties (expansion, zoning, crime etc);
  • Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of prospect customers;
  • Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically;
  • Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals;
  • Confirm rental application data and personal references;
  • Stay knowledgeable of the property market status.

Requirements:

  • Excellent time management and computer skills;
  • Work well under pressure;
  • Have to be available for emergency coverage;
  • Persuasive with marketing and sales skills;
  • Customer service oriented;
  • Accounting experience consider an asset;
  • Up to date with property market status;
  • Detail oriented;
  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative/Leasing or Property Management role;
  • Working knowledge leasing practices;
  • MS Office familiarity;
  • Ability to quickly learn new products and programs;
  • Proven track of successful sales record;
  • Thorough knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act;
  • A professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
