Our company is looking for a Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Keeping abreast of competitor products and the overall automotive market in Canada;
  • Assisting the Sales Manager with customer problems;
  • Visually inspect inventory and maintain knowledge of current inventory;
  • Working with Sales and F&I Managers to negotiate sale and requirements for financing or vehicle lease;
  • Researching availability of models and optional equipment using computer database;
  • Attending/completing required training and department meetings as required;
  • Explaining features and demonstrates operation of vehicle;
  • Completing all paperwork and arranges for delivery and registration of vehicle;
  • Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations;
  • Other duties, projects, etc. as requested by management;
  • Exhibit e selling skills. Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses;
  • Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles;
  • Follow up on delivered vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Follow-up with buyers to ensure successful referral business;
  • Bring your ‘A game’ along with a positive attitude to work with you every single day.

Requirements:

  • Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred;
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record;
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance;
  • Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members;
  • Current registration as a salesperson under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act;
  • You are self-motived, energetic, and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ready to waste no time on learning new product in’s and out’s, eager to improve;
  • You understand the relationship between successful selling and guest satisfaction;
  • A valid Ontario Class ‘G’ Driver’s license is required.
