Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively with drivers and customers
- Strong organizational and time management skills - must be able to prioritize tasks and efficiently allocate resources
- Familiarity with GPS and routing software - must be able to navigate and direct drivers to their destinations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment - must be able to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance - must understand and comply with all federal and state transportation regulations
- Experience in the transportation industry - previous experience as a truck dispatcher is preferred
- Flexibility to work varied shifts - must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills - must be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during transportation operations
