Software Developer – Test Automation Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Software Developer – Test Automation to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify test scenarios that are critical and repetitive and automate them, overseeing their execution and maintenance;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies and explore non-functional areas such as Performance, Security, and Accessibility testing;
- Work with the team to ensure bugs are triaged and resolved in time, creating a culture of quality in the production teams you are part of;
- Provide test plans that allow clients to conduct UAT.
Requirements:
- Understand Computer Science fundamentals and Software Engineering principles;
- 5+ years industry experience in automation and manual testing;
- Expertise in functional, regression, cross-browser/device, exploratory, and REST/SOAP API testing;
- Expertise in working with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress or other test runners.
