Preflight Mechanic Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Preflight Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in testing engines and APU (auxiliary power unit);
- Prepare aircraft for flight (“refueling”, daily inspection);
- Make changes as service bulletins while respecting the standards of the industry;
- Installing and repairing mechanical components;
- Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems;
- Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight control, etc.);
- Reading and interpreting blue prints;
- Perform all other related tasks;
- Participate in continuous improvement program (AES).
Requirements:
- AME or M2.
