Injection Moulding Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Injection Moulding Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Generating documentation on molding runs that can be used for Quality Control, traceability and ensure reproducibility;
- Working with Quality and Manufacturing Departments;
- Other assignments as requested;
- Managing raw molding materials in a way that ensures traceability and prevents contamination;
- Working with production personnel and R&D to ensure molded components meet requirements and making process adjustments as required;
- Organize and maintain inventory;
- Following established procedures in order to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Requirements:
- General hands-on mechanical work experience would be an asset;
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel;
- CGRP clearance required (police background check);
- Ability to use measurement tools such as weight scales, vernier calipers, etc;
- Candidate must be proactive and show initiative in taking on and completing injection molding projects;
- Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills;
- 3 years’ experience in injection molding preferred but not required;
- Candidate must have good organizational skills;
- High school diploma with basic arithmetic skills.
