Responsibilities:
- Performing patient pre-testing procedures such as taking ocular measurements and assessing corneal curvature
- Assisting optometrists and ophthalmologists with contact lens fittings
- Ordering contact lenses and maintaining inventory
- Instructing patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, cleaning and care
- Troubleshooting contact lens-related issues and addressing patient concerns

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- Completion of a contact lens technician program or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the eye
- Familiarity with contact lens materials, designs, and fitting techniques
- Ability to accurately measure and record eye measurements and contact lens parameters
- Proficient in using specialized equipment such as lensometers and keratometers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
