Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
  • Select appropriate cutting tools and calculate appropriate feeds and speeds
  • Monitor the machining process and adjust programs as necessary
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient production
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Experience with programming, setting up and operating CNC machines
  • Knowledge of machining processes and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot CNC machines
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
